Redleaf Prayer is a national intercessory ministry which has sought to serve the Canadian Church though:
We love the Church and believe it is the centre of what God is doing on the earth, so our focus in intercession is to pray for revival in the Church (manifest by God's holiness, love, power, presence and glory being poured out in intense ways) and harvest in the nation.
Redleaf also serves by facilitating the Ears2Hear Network.

Our History

Redleaf Prayer (formerly Cityscape) began in 2003 out of the Vancouver House of Prayer. The initial mandate was to connect the Canadian prayer moment for greater relationship, strengthening and fruitfulness. We began by connecting prayer in Vancouver which led to an explosion of mentoring as the word got out. By 2006 Redleaf had mentored hundreds and launched a number of other prayer networks in the Vancouver area but the national need was becoming apparent. The Lord clearly led Redleaf to pioneer a new forum for mentoring that could reach across the distance, so we began weekly mentoring classes by conference calls. This flagship program, called the Gadite Track became widely known and received in the nation. It emphasized the important of intimacy with Jesus, the Spirit of Prayer, honoring the Church and effective principles to grow in establishing intercession.
RLHOP LAUNCHED
As the first students completed the 14 week program, the next pillar of the ministry was birthed. The Lord downloaded a tremendous vision for the Red Leaf House of Prayer. In the spring of 2007 our first meetings started. Soon a number of other senior Canadian prayer leaders joined Redleaf's core team to help with the demand for the Gadite Track mentoring and as each session was completed a new prayer meeting was birthed in the RLHOP.

NATIONAL EQUIPPING IN PRAYER
From here, Redleaf joined forces with our good friends at the National House of Prayer to set up the National School of Intercession, which has been held nationally and regionally all over Canada from 2007 until 2015.
But this was just the beginning of Redleaf's teaching and equipping. We have run a larger variety of schools, both in person and online, we have also run internships which have given, particularly young adults, an opportunity to grow exponentially in intercession.

EARS TO HEAR BEGINS
2007 also saw the launching of the Ears to Hear Network of Canadian Prayer Ministries, and the leaders of member ministries have gathered monthly on conference calls/ video calls and annually for a three day summit. The vast majority of Canadian Prayer Ministries and Houses of Prayer are involved, It's a relational team that genuinely desires to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church and respond in prayer. |
TRUE NORTH
2010 brought more changes as we again partnered with NHOP to launch our annual national conferences, True North. We began in Winnipeg, and invited the nation to join us to not just hear a speaker, but to seek the Lord. We would typically host a BURN in the middle of the conference - with continuous worship, prayer and prophecy for 6 hours or more . This annual prophetic conference ran from 2010 to 2015, as a part of the Canadian spiritual landscape, a genuine place of unity to seek God and hear strategic words for Canada. |
RLHOP
From 2007 to 2019, the Red Leaf House of Prayer became our main ministry focus and we were thrilled with the fire of prayer and the increase of hours of intercession (up to 43 meetings a week). The heart was to have Canada saturated with united, national prayer all our waking hours -- 100 hours a week -- "from dawn until the stars come out" as Nehemiah expressed it. In 2019 it was clear that RLHOP was to be given over to the Multiply / C2C Network to grow into a bigger platform in contending for revival.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
In 2015 the Lord began to give a new vision of the revival that was available through praying the Lord's Prayer. This began a new emphasis, which turned into a new book! Now, this focus on the Lord's Prayer has become the cornerstone of Redleaf's equipping and prayer leading. We continue to give God all the glory for all He has done through Redleaf. It has been an extraordinary journey, with so many opportunities to forerun intercessory ministry and to serve the Canadian Church. We are also very excited about the next chapters and what's to come! |
Our Funding
Redleaf is a registered Canadian charity. Predominantly, the ministry is supported by a group of visionary people who believe in the need for more prayer in the nation and sacrifice to keep Redleaf serving this need. These are our partners.
